Under Armour
Making Athletes Better.
The Problem.
I had applied to 59 internships for my final summer as a college student - only 5 had emailed me back. Things were looking bleak. I saw Under Armour still had their application open - a day after it had closed. This was my chance. I sent the application a day late with a “why not” attitude - I was sure I wasn’t going to get it.
I got an email a few days later asking to schedule some time for a call. There was no way - it must’ve been a mistake. They probably emailed the wrong Zac.
Nope, they emailed the right Zac. I went through a stressful three rounds of interviews, and was offered the internship in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Global Brand Marketing Intern.
The Solution.
I spent three months on the East Coast (my first time), and became fully immersed in the culture and the profession. Every morning, I woke up trying to be better than I was the day before. I was thrown in the deep end of the brand marketing world, and came out the other side with lifelong friends, and some portfolio pieces, too.
I wish I could summarize the entire Under Armour experience, but anything I say wouldn’t do it justice. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more. Until then, keep scrolling to see if the work speaks where I cannot.
